An International Undergraduate Pathway Anchored at a Project 211 University
UIBE and overseas partner universities deliver a structured 2+2 commissioned-training undergraduate pathway — from a domestic foundation to an overseas degree
About
About the Program
This program is a 2+2 international undergraduate commissioned-training program jointly delivered by the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) and overseas partner universities. UIBE is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and among the first Project 211 institutions, with international education as a long-standing institutional strength. The domestic phase is delivered at UIBE's main campus, with program students holding the same campus card as regular UIBE undergraduates.
Domestic-phase courses are delivered by overseas partner-university faculty (or their authorized instructors), supplemented by in-house tutors — a dual-teacher model. Overseas university enrollment is registered at admission, with students transferring to the partner university for the final two years.
Background
Program Background
As demand for international education rises among Chinese families, the traditional direct-admission route to overseas universities continues to present challenges — in cost, language adjustment, and major selection. The 2+2 commissioned-training model responds directly: students build a structured foundation in China, easing the transition abroad, while mutual credit recognition with the overseas partner ensures continuity into the specialization phase.
The program also serves students considering fields that face heightened visa scrutiny in North America, and students who need a measured "re-routing" pathway after a setback in direct admission.
